JoJo covered Selena Quintanilla’s “Dreaming of You” in concert and it was absolutely beautiful

Bow down and throw roses at our feet along with infinite gratitude for we come bearing a lovely gift in the form of this video of JoJo covering Selena Quintanilla’s “Dreaming of You.” Billboard highlighted recent concert footage captured by a fan who attended JoJo’s Corpus Christi concert on Monday where the “F*ck Apologies” singer honored Quintanilla in her hometown with a raw rendition of the Tejano star’s 1995 hit song.

“I had the pleasure of seeing the Selena statue, paying respect, and I’m just reminded of the amazing, amazing contribution she made to music, and how her spirit is still with us today,” JoJo told her fans. “I just wanted to pay homage and do ‘Dreaming Of You’ tonight. I hope I do it justice.”
