John Stamos’s girlfriend Caitlin McHugh opened up about how supportive he is, and we wouldn’t expect any less from Uncle Jesse
There are some celeb relationships that we hear every teensy detail about, and others that just fly under the radar until one day we wake up with our heads exploding from the news we should have already known. And um, the latter just happened!
Yup, John Stamos’s girlfriend Caitlin McHugh opened up to Entertainment Tonight about his support for her, and we’re liiiiiike…WAIT! They are a COUPLE?! We kind of forgot!
To make us feel even more behind the times, apparently the Fuller House star and McHugh have been dating for a whole year. Usually it would take us a little while to process this, but everything is going so well with them that we can’t help but jump on board.
"I'm very happy, he's super supportive, and I really couldn't ask for anything better. [...] He's very encouraging of anything I want to do career-wise. I really appreciate it a lot. You don't get that with every guy," McHugh told ET.

And the loved-up couple are even working on a short film together, awwwww.

But if you browse through both of their Instagram accounts, you won’t find any relationship snaps because they’re keeping things super private.
"We like to keep our lives private because we've seen what relationships in the public eye can be like and we just like our privacy. We don't want the commentary from the masses about what our relationship is or should be. We’re very happy together and we hope to be so for a long time," said McHugh.
And we totally respect their decision (maybe just one photo though, guys?), and ultimately we’re glad that this new couple (or not so new) are doing what works for them. We’re feeling all their good vibes! This made our day.
