John Legend taking Chrissy Teigen’s jewelry off after the Grammys is tipsy couple goals

Though the event itself looked fun in theory, in practice, we’re pretty sure John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s post-Grammys celebration was the real party in Los Angeles Sunday night. And lucky for us, Teigen was kind enough to share their entire adventure — ranging from the awards themselves to a glamorous shindig at Chateau Marmont to, quite literally, Legend getting splashed by a mini-toilet — on social media.
Of course, it was evident throughout Teigen’s snaps that alcohol played a major role in their evening. During a rowdy game of “Toilet Trouble” that occurred at some point after the show, she posted a 10-second video of Legend being sprayed in the face by a mini-toilet filled with what looked like beer or champagne. (Apparently, the point of Toilet Trouble is to spray your friends in the face with toilet water? Is this what kids are doing, these days?)

So given all of this glitz, glamour, toilet spritz and champagne, Teigen was in rare form when the couple finally arrived home at the end of the night, not even taking time to change out of her party gown before heading straight for a pack of ramen.

We’ve all been in this state, of course, but what we don’t all have is a John Legend by our side to take off our piles of designer jewelry. In a ridiculously freaking adorable series of snaps you should check out immediately, Teigen proclaims she’s too fatigued to remove herself from their kitchen floor, asks Legend to assist her in taking off her jewelry (or really, just do it for her), moans when the necklaces pull her hair, then — and this is peak “drunk girl,” here — asks him “are you mad at me? Cause I got drunk?”
“Why would I be mad at you?” Legend replies. “You’re perfect.”
John helping a drunk @chrissyteigen take off her jewellery is my new favourite thing. Goals pic.twitter.com/PLnPxtu1Hb
