John Legend revealed what he’s most excited about with baby #2, and you’ll sob
Parenthood is pretty miraculous. Sure, there’s diapers, sleep deprivation, and (a lot of) crying, but there’s also the whole bringing forth a whole new, completely unique person into the world. And John Legend is all about the wonder.
This will be the second child for Legend and his wife, Chrissy Teigen. The two welcomed baby Luna in 2016 through in vitro fertilization, most commonly known as IVF. Teigen has always been super open about the process. “Ours didn’t work the first time, and it was devastating,” she said to The Cut. “You realize that a lot of it is luck, and you can’t blame things on yourself.” Teigen’s also said she’s not too sure how Luna will react to a new baby sibling (we’re sure it will all be fine! At least eventually…)
As for Legend, he says he’s most excited to see yet another product of his love with Teigen. Awww.
"It’s always exciting because you never know what they're going to be like, Legend told Entertainment Tonight. "You’re just excited that another product of your relationship and your love is going to be out there in front of you."
He also can’t wait to see how his soon-to-be-born son will interact with Teigen.
"We'll see how he is with his mom, because you know, I hear sons are really good with their moms," he added.
We, too, can’t wait to meet the new baby! We’re already unapologetically obsessed with Luna, so we have a feeling we’re going to adore the new addition.
