John Krasinski attributes his success to his wife Emily Blunt, and they’re #relationshipgoals

Is there a sweeter man than John Krasinski? He’s been making the world say “aww” for years. We fell in love with him as Jim Halpert on The Office, because his character’s relationship with Pam is one of the sweetest in television history. And Krasinski’s real-life relationship with Emily Blunt is total goals, too. Krasinski and Blunt are the cutest couple ever. Everything he’s ever said about his wife makes us want to shed a million tears. From talking about “marrying up” to starring together in A Quiet Place, they’re just the best.

Recently, Krasinski spoke with The Independent about his upcoming Amazon show, Jack Ryan, which is based on Tom Clancy’s novels. The character has previously been played by some giant names (Harrison Ford, anyone?) and the role is a big deal for the actor. But he says he couldn’t have done any of it without his wife.

During the interview, Krasinski discussed how he credits Blunt for his thriving career. He explained that without her, he wouldn’t know as much about business, and even referred to her as his “secret ingredient.” We love a couple who supports one another.

"I honestly feel I wouldn’t have this career if I hadn’t met her, because she’s taught me so much about how to go about the business," Krasinski told The Independent. "She's been my secret ingredient."

In fact, Blunt is the reason Krasinski directed A Quiet Place.

He says that without her encouragement, he never would have taken that leap of faith to both star and direct.

"I was originally just going to star and Emily told me I had to direct it," Krasinski continued. "She knew it was a huge opportunity for me, and in the madness she just let me be myself."

Krasinski added that starring in the movie together actually made their marriage even stronger.

"Not that I thought it would get worse but we were much more in love after the movie," he said. "We leaned on each other in a way we never had."

They could not be any cuter. Keep being #relationshipgoals, you two.
