John Cena proposed to Nikki Bella during WrestleMania, and it was weirdly so romantic
He’s one of our favorite wrestlers (who’s also a charming actor), and we’re just overjoyed to hear that John Cena proposed to Nikki Bella during WrestleMania! It happened right there in the ring after he and Bella (yup she’s a wrester too!) defeated a husband and wife team.
All the emotions were flowing as Cena — still catching his breath — got down on one knee to pop the question to Bella, who was smiling as he brought out the ring. Even though a crowd of 70,000 people were watching, the moment felt intimate and SO incredibly sweet.
"I have been waiting so long to ask you this. Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace, will you marry me?"
AND SHE SAID YES! Then came the emotionally-charged hugs and kisses, which were also super adorable. We couldn’t be happier for these two. They’ve been dating for five years, and we’re wishing them the best in the years ahead.
Congrats, guys!
And the people of the internet are pretty excited too.

We’ve seen some creative proposals in our time, but popping the question in a wrestling ring is seriously badass. How could she resist?
The happy couple even went on The Today Show together to share their love story, including a hilarious tale of how Cena got a clue that Bella wanted to marry him when she was under anesthesia for her neck surgery.
