New Dad Joe Jonas Is Now a Platinum Blonde
Alright, we'll say it: We're a "sucker" for this look.
Like pretty much all of us, Joe Jonas has definitely changed up his hair style over the years. He’s said farewell to the late-aughts long, shaggy style he became famous for in the early days of the Jonas Brothers in favor of a shorter, more modern look. But he has almost always kept his signature dark brown hair—that is, until now, because the new dad just debuted an entirely new look: a platinum blonde buzz cut.
We know it’s tough to believe, but Jonas has officially said “bye bye” to brunette, showing off his brand new platinum blonde look in a post on his Instagram Story late Wednesday, August 19th.
Jonas shared a close-up selfie revealing his super short, super blonde buzz cut, and we must say, we’re liking what we’re seeing so far.
He has experimented with platinum blonde before. Back in 2016, to quote the ’90s, Jonas frosted his tips in an icy platinum blonde, while he was with his band DNCE.
The “What a Man Gotta Do” singer didn’t reveal anything about his new look, so no word on whether it was inspired by recently becoming a dad. Reports have shared that he welcomed a baby girl named Willa with wife Sophie Turner back in July, and Turner has since referred to him as her “baby daddy.” Maybe he simply wanted to mix things up a bit because, hey, he’s far from the first celeb to try a major hair change in quarantine.
Either way, he looks, dare we say, top to the bottom just cool, and we would very much like to see more of his new look. A matching couple’s selfie with his famously blonde wife, perhaps? We wouldn’t be mad at it—after all, we’re only human. And with that, we’ll see ourselves out, because we’ve reached our limit of JoBros lyric puns for the day.
