Joe Alwyn reportedly wants to propose to Taylor Swift soon, and we hope she’s…ready for it
You won’t be able to shake it off—and by “it,” we mean the latest reports circulating in the Taylor Swift rumor mill. Joe Alwyn is reportedly planning on popping the big question to the Reputation singer, according to Us Weekly. A source told the publication that the 27-year-old British actor is “very keen on proposing soon.”
“He wants to make it unforgettable and extremely special, the source added. “He’s her dream guy. Taylor’s going to be over the moon.
No word on the timeline of “soon” yet (and, of course, this is all mere speculation), but Swift will be celebrating her birthday tomorrow, December 13th, so perhaps a birthday proposal is on the horizon for the “Shake It Off” singer.
The notoriously private duo have been dating for about two years. While a complete timeline of their relationship is a bit hazy, Swift and Alwyn reportedly began dating sometime in October 2016. Following much media speculation, Swift reportedly confirmed that tracks from Reputation were, in fact, about her British beau during the album’s listening party.
Alwyn has starred in a series of big films this year, including Boy Erased, Mary, Queen of Scots, and The Favourite. Swift was reportedly seen at the Mary, Queen of Scots after party in London on December 10th. The supportive girlfriend also took to Instagram on November 22nd to encourage fans to see The Favourite, writing, “The Favourite is absolutely phenomenal, and it opens in NY and LA tomorrow— Swipe to see cities and dates!”
