Get your wands ready: J.K. Rowling’s new collection of short stories was just published

As though we didn’t already have enough reasons to worship at the altar of J.K. Rowling, as though she hasn’t given us enough new content to sate our limitless appetite for more Harry Potter, she had to take one more step toward sainthood and decide to publish a series of ebooks!

According to the Pottermore announcement, the three ebooks are due out TODAY, and will include the additional stories J.K. Rowling provided for the website, as well as some *BRAND NEW CONTENT.*

The ebooks, called Pottermore Presents, will offer Harry Potter fans “added insights into the stories, settings and characters and were all lovingly curated by Pottermore.” (YES PLEASE.)

The artwork for the books was done by Mina and Eduardo Lima, aka the artists from the Harry Potter films, and the small pictures we can see on the Pottermore website are just… TOO PRETTY FOR WORDS!

Pottermore even included summaries for each book, so seriously, mentally prepare yourself to be overwhelmed by your feelings. We get it, we’re here for you.

We’re ESPECIALLY excited to get the new piece on Professor McGonagall, aka Professor McBadass, aka GIVE US THESE BOOKS RIGHT NOW.
