Jimmy Fallon’s new ride is officially open at Universal Studios, and he couldn’t be more excited

This is exciting for all of us Jimmy Fallon fans out there: you can now “Race Through New York” alongside Jimmy. How? Jimmy Fallon’s new ride is waiting for you at Universal Studios in Orlando. This week Jimmy launched his new ride by hosting The Tonight Show from Orlando and now that it’s open, hold onto your seats for this crazy ride.

The “Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon” ride takes you on a tour of New York City after you learn some history of The Tonight Show in Studio 6B. Join the audience of The Tonight Show to see how it really feels to be lucky enough to watch the show live! Then get a speedy simulated tour of NYC. Sounds like so much fun.

But don’t take our word for it, Jimmy knows everyone will enjoy this ride:

"There are thrills and chills, things for kids, things for adults, entertainment," he told USA Today. "It’s all about having fun. On my ride alone, there is singing, dancing, a giant stuffed panda, and there are interactive tables for you to send thank-you notes. They thought of everything."

Jimmy is excited about the ride obviously. Who doesn’t want their own theme park ride?! But he explained that this ride is special for even more reasons:

"I grew up about four hours away from The Great Escape in Lake George, New York, and we used to go there. I loved the roller coasters. I love the idea of theme parks, because everyone is there to have fun. It’s like the movie, Vacation. Whether you like it or not, we’re going to have fun!"

Plus, Jimmy pitched the idea YEARS ago for a theme park ride. Luckily, he finally got one. And fans of Jimmy’s and The Tonight Show will love this ride. Plus, fans of other late night NBC shows (both real and fictional *cough* 30 Rock *cough*) will love this look back through NBC history and the chance to feel like they’re actually in the center of New York City!

Check out what fans think so far!

We can’t wait to cruise through New York City by way of Orlando on this ride. And then send Jimmy a thank you note of course!
