Jimmy Fallon just freaked out over how much the Crocodile Hunter’s son is following in his dad’s footsteps

Now this guy is his dad’s mini-me! Jimmy Fallon totally freaked over how much the Crocodile Hunter’s son is following in his footsteps. On Thursday, Robert Irwin, the son of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, sat down with Fallon. He was a guest on The Tonight Show, and, of course, had a few animals by his side.

This is so cool to see you like this. You’re actually your dad,” Fallon said as he sat down with the wildlife guru.

"My dad was actually on 'The Tonight Show' quite a while ago, and it’s really nice to follow in his footsteps," Irwin told the show's host. "I think I am the luckiest kid on planet earth."

The 13-year-old animal lover is cohosting the annual Steve Irwin Gala on May 13th, 2017 in Los Angeles alongside his mom and sister Bindi.

Animals aren’t the only thing he has in common with his father, he also shares his passion and enthusiasm of the job.

Fallon, on the other hand, is a little afraid of animals. Luckily, Irwin was a great helper as he introduced all the animals. He was such a pro that the talk show host totally thought he was his father, and we can see why.

Despite his nervousness, Fallon did his best to meet all of the animals anyway.

Irwin helped the 42-year-old host overcome his fears…sort of.

He met a crocodile named Beetlejuice and an armadillo, followed by a snake named Lady.

Last but not least he met two sloths that were “cute and fluffy for you,” according to the Australian zoo worker.

"I think it’s official. You’re a sloth whisperer," Irwin said after the host finally connected with the animals.

The whole interaction was adorable and inspiring. We totally admire the comedic host for being brave and getting out of his comfort zone. And we think it’s so awesome the young Irwin is following in his father’s footsteps.
