Jim Parsons played “5-Second Summaries” with Jimmy Fallon, and did such an amazing job

When you’re a cast member on an incredibly popular television show, you probably have a pretty good grasp on pop culture. That’s probably why The Big Bang Theory‘s Jim Parsons did an amazing job playing “5-Second Summaries” with Jimmy Fallon on last night’s episode of The Tonight Show.

If you’ve never heard of the game, it’s pretty simple — you have to guess the movie or television show that the other is referring to with context clues, in a short amount of time. It’s pretty much the perfect party game to play if you don’t want to spring for a board game, or if you’re unexpectedly snowed in.

As rounds are completed, more and more time is taken off the clock. Watch and see if Fallon and Parsons get stumped.

We think that Parsons and Fallon make an amazing team — even when they get nervous during round 3! Perhaps it’s because Fallon actually played Parsons on Saturday Night Live a few years ago. Surely that makes them connected in some weird way, right?

We also dig this game because not only is it easy, but there are no losers. So, hey — if you’re looking for a game to play with media-savvy children, it might be perfect.

If you need more Jim Parsons in your life (and who doesn’t?) you can catch him in the new movie Hidden Figures, which will be out in theaters on December 25th.
