Jessica Simpson’s kids singing “Happy Birthday” is exactly what we needed today
No doubt about it, Jessica Simpson has some cute kids. While it seems impossible for them to get any cuter, an Instagram video just circulated of 5-year-old Maxwell and 4-year-old Ace singing “Happy Birthday” while in the car. Who’s birthday was it? Well, Ace’s of course!
Ace turned 4 this past Friday, and Simpson and her husband Eric Johnson definitely made it a day to celebrate. Besides the “carpool karaoke,” as Simpson hashtagged the video, Ace got his own cake and perhaps the most beautiful bunch of colorful balloons in the world.
Who knows? Maybe Ace inherited his mother’s impeccable singing talent.

We love the fact that Ace has gorgeous blonde locks just like his mom!
Born Ace Knute Johnson, US Weekly reported that his less-than-common middle name comes straight from Johnson’s Swedish paternal grandfather. At this stage in life, it looks like both kids seem to physically resemble Simpson. Maxwell, who is just a year older than Ace, could even pass as her twin.
Ace also celebrated his birthday week by attending his very first Red Sox game.
Of course, he made sure to sport the team colors of red and white.
It’s nice to know that between managing her fashion line (and her very stylish maternity line) she’s fond of spending her time these days raising her two little ones. And based on her social media account, which showcases camping trips and outdoor family activities, it’s apparent that Simpson is truly one cool mom.
