Jessica Simpson posted the cutest throwback photo of her husband and her baby bump

The holidays are always a time to feel grateful for family, and Jessica Simpson is no exception.

The singer shared an adorable throwback photo to her Instagram account on Friday to share just how thankful she is. In the picture from 2013, Simpson is lying on a hospital bed while husband Eric Johnson wraps his arms around her pregnant belly.

The unborn child in the photo is their son Ace Knute Johnson, now 3. Simpson notes in the caption: “Ace being held by his Dad #aceknute.”

Ace was born in June 2013, and his older sister Maxwell Drew was born in May 2012.

Johnson, a former NFL player, and Simpson married in 2014, and their two young children acted as the flower girl and ring bearer. The ceremony also featured Simpson’s mother Tina and sister Ashlee as the maids of honor.

The adorable couple just celebrated their second anniversary this July, and if Instagram is any indicator, their love is certainly still going strong. The couple looked amazing this Halloween in their Grease-inspired costumes.

Simpson has been busy lately, with what we anticipate might be a musical comeback. Last Sunday during the American Music Awards, she shared a video of herself performing “I Wanna Love You Forever” on Instagram. The video is from 2001, and in her caption she wrote, “Bring it 2017.”
