Jessica Alba lost her second dog in two weeks, and her most recent tribute is heartbreaking
Losing a pet is one of the most devastating things that can happen. Losing two within a month? We couldn’t even imagine. Unfortunately, Jessica Alba lost her second dog in two weeks, and our hearts go out to her.
Alba announced the news through Instagram that her dog, Bowie, had passed away. Alba, who is currently pregnant with her third child, announced the death of her pug Sid in late July. Sid, who the actress referred to as being “the best friend a girl could ask for,” had been with her for quite some time. In her words, “She lived a long life, eating everything she could sniff out, she was my OG Rolldog, made her feature film debut in Honey and endured millions of snuggles.”
After finding out that Bowie had passed, Alba admitted that it had been a rough two weeks.
"Will cherish our last night cuddling forever," she wrote. "Bowmeister was the sweetest love bug."
A lot of her close friends made sure to pay their tributes to the pooch, including Aaron Paul.
Alba recently announced her third pregnancy with husband Cash Warren. The two are already parents to two girls, 5-year-old Haven and 9-year-old Honor, both who helped her announce the new baby in an extremely fun way.
But still, even with a full house, we can imagine how empty it must feel after the loss of Bowie and Sid. We’re just happy that Alba has so many beautiful memories of the two of them to share. Both dogs were so lucky to have her as a mom.
