Jessica Alba looked like cotton candy at the 2017 Oscars after party

There were obviously many beautiful and unique dresses at last night’s Oscars, but we spied Jessica Alba at the Vanity Fair Oscars after party wearing a stunning pale blue, silk, floor-length Ralph & Russo gown that resembles cotton candy (in the best possible way). The dress features strategically placed ruffles and a fun slit up the side, as well as a pleated flower on the waist. SO PRETTY!
Coupled with silver, Giuseppe Zanotti platform heels and a matching Jimmy Choo clutch, Alba looked like she was there to enjoy a classy and playful evening with her hubby Cash Warren.
Let’s get a closer look at that clutch.
We love that she opted to put her hair in a tight (yet casual) ponytail, because the dress is the star here. Along with those maroon lips of course! And subtle gold lipgloss on her eyelids, thanks to celebrity makeup artist Daniel Martin.
It’s always rewarding to showcase anything Jessica Alba-related, because quite apart from being an inspiring style icon, she’s someone who move through life with such grace and elegance. Her perfect philosophy for life comes from a Japanese saying ‘wabi-sabi,” which she translates as “enjoying and embracing the imperfections of life.”

Then there’s the fact that throughout all this, she doesn’t take herself too seriously. And we love that.
Keep inspiring us to be our best selves in work and in play, Jessica. We’re better for it.
