Jenny Slate’s mismatched sleeve dress is so chic, especially with those hot pink heels
Actors Jenny Slate and Edgar Ramirez announced the nominees for the Independent Spirit Awards on Tuesday. For the occasion, Slate wore a mismatched-sleeve dress that we love, love, all-the-way LOVE.
Manchester by the Sea, Moonlight, American Honey, Chronic, and Jackie will compete for best pictures. O.J.: Made in America landed among the titles for best documentary.
The annual film awards show will be held on February 25, 2017 and will air live on IFC.
Former SNL actor and comedian Jenny Slate and Venezuelan actor and former journalist (swoon) Ramirez announced all of the nominees in the press conference introduced by Film Independent President Josh Welsh at the W Hotel in Hollywood.
Of course, we’re interested in the films, but we’re IN LOVE with Jenny’s dress. Also, how she styled it – #perf.
Slate’s Diane Von Furstenburg navy dress printed with blue birds featured one spaghetti strap and one cap sleeve. Jenny paired it with Stuart Weitzman hot pink suede strappy heels in a contrasting move that can only be called pure genius.
Furstenburg embraced asymmetrical sleeves in her Spring 2017 collection. But Jenny Slate took a piece from the ready-to-wear line and turned it into a MUST-WEAR but probably-can’t-wear-any-better-than-Slate-can piece. She slays.
