Jenny Slate has been wearing the most gorgeous patterned dresses recently, and she’s all the style inspiration we’ll ever need

Jenny Slate is fiercely funny, but it turns out she is also a fierce dresser! Slate, who is making the rounds this summer promoting her new film Landline, has been serving up some major style inspiration lately — and we’re here for it. In the film, she spends most of her time in unflattering, ’90s-era mom jeans, but her red carpet style is anything but unflattering. She has been showing a preference for florals and patterns, and also rocking a longer-length dress. The overall look? Perfection.

To the New York premiere of Landline this week, she wore a stunning Roland Mouret gown.

The gown is mostly black, which we know Slate regularly pulls off with minimal effort.

The frock features a criss-cross, hi-low textured skirt, and its fitted bodice is adorned with beading and mirrors, creating a rich pattern. Paired with simple gold accessories, it is perfect for a hot summer night in NYC.

Earlier in July, she wore a floor-length Lela Rose gown to the film’s Hollywood premiere.

It was from the brand’s fall collection, but still feels incredibly fresh in the middle of July, probably because of the large, floral embroidery on the gown.

The vivid gold, pink, and blue really stand out and make the dress hard to ignore.

Clearly, Jenny Slate has an affinity for florals — and vibrant ones at that. And who can blame her? They’re just so pretty and easy to wear.

She attended the “Despicable Me 3 premiere at the end of June wearing an Alice McCall dress adorned with fringe.

Some may have considered the dark, black undertone of the dress severe, especially for a kid’s movie with a yellow carpet, but the flowers, which contained colors like hot pink, jade green, and gold, boosted the frock’s fun factor.

But she wears bright colors, too! While out and about in New York City recently, she wore an icy blue floral (again) mermaid dress by Michael Kors, and paired it with the cutest hot pink stilettos with a net bow.
