Jennifer Lopez is reportedly launching a skin care line, so 2019 is already looking up
Grab your vision board for 2019, and take note of this exciting news, STAT: Jennifer Lopez plans to launch a skin care line, and it’s reportedly dropping next year. No, this isn’t a dream you’re waking up from (although, if you’re like us, you’ve wished for this for a while now). It’s really happening, which means we can all get that coveted J.Lo glow.
It was only a matter of time before Jennifer announced a skin care line, especially since she added “makeup entrepreneur” to her resume in 2018. Back in April, the multi-hyphenate launched a 70-piece makeup collection with Inglot Cosmetics. So it makes sense that for the next step in her ever-growing career, she would launch a skin care line. And, honestly, the Second Act star’s announcement couldn’t be more fitting, considering the 49-year-old (!!!) has somehow found the Fountain of Youth and has been aging in reverse.
“I will be coming out with a skin care line. I’ve been working on it for a long time because I don’t want to put [just] anything out,” J.Lo confessed during a promotional event for her new film Second Act at New York’s The Wing. As reported by Refinery29, the star told moderator Yari Blanco about her new beauty endeavor after being asked about her skin care regimen.
"I get that question a lot, especially as I get older," she said. "I want it to be something that encompasses all the things I've learned and all the secrets I have. And it doesn't have anything to do with needles."
Best believe Jennifer’s line isn’t something she’s slapping her name on. “It’s going to be something that works,” she said. “That’s what you can count on when my name is on something.”
While there aren’t too many details about the skin care line, J.Lo reportedly plans to drop her goodies in late 2019, according to Allure. Our best guess is that her line will include moisturizers, serums, and eye creams, but not much info has been shared. One thing is for sure: we’ll have our credit cards ready when these products launch.
