Jennifer Lopez looks like an orchid made out of icing in her deep V-cut Grammys dress
Usually the girl to deliver the drop-dead-sexy ensembles to the red carpet, Jennifer Lopez’s 2017 Grammys red carpet look was surprisingly girly. But, whew, was it just as drop-dead-gorgeous as ever!
The pop icon slipped into a Ralph & Russo couture design, a number that debuted on the Parisian runways just weeks ago at the designer’s spring 2017 haute couture show.
“It’s just a lavender orchid confection!” Ms. Lopez gushed over her gown to E!’s Ryan Seacrest.
The floral-inspired dressed boasted an ultra-feminine silhouette, showcasing the singer’s décolletage with a plunging keyhole neckline that faded into a sleek, belted waist.
Here’s what it looked like when it originally debuted on the runway:
The bottom portion of the dress swept into a dramatic (and fittingly JLo-esque) train with a an ultra thigh-high slit to add in just a little more punch to this pretty dress.
And of course, there’s the giant tulle bow around, which was pretty much the icing on this sugary-sweet cake of a dress.
And seeing as this is the Jennifer Lopez, this red carpet slam dunk just wouldn’t be complete without some major bling, which the singer incorporated in the form of sparkly Christian Louboutin shoes, a shimmering Judith Leiber clutch and some serious Butanji jewels.
