This is what Jennifer Lopez’s makeup collection looks like on a non-celeb (and mega fan)

I can’t believe I’m trying Jennifer Lopez’s makeup collection with Inglot Cosmetics. Someone pinch me!

Everyone in my office is probably tired of hearing me rave about J.Lo. She could fart, and I’d make everyone tune into the breaking news. Jennifer is one of my idols, so you can only imagine my excitement right now. (I literally screamed in the office when the Inglot package came in.) Being able to use a bronzer that THE queen of bronzer created is like a dream come true.

And let me tell you, J.Lo didn’t release just any makeup collection either. She thought it through, hunny. The 70-piece makeup line has everything you can imagine — from bronzers (obvi) to lip glosses to fake lashes to eyeshadow palettes. You’ll go from Jenny from the Block to looking like you need your own damn Vegas residency (at least that’s what it will feel like).

To give beauty lovers or J.Lo fans a better idea of how the products look IRL, I was lucky enough to test the collection. However, if you already have your eyes set on something, the products are available now on Inglot’s website and JenniferLopezInglot.com. You can also purchase the products in store at select Macy’s locations and Inglot stores. Prices range from $8.50-$49.

While Inglot Cosmetics sent me a generous amount of products to test out (#blessed), I used the products that allowed me to create a full face inspired by J.Lo.

So here’s what the Jennifer Lopez x Inglot Cosmetics makeup looked like on a non-celeb like myself.

Final thoughts:

While I do wish the packaging was more exciting, especially since J.Lo is known for her glitz and glam, overall, the packaging is sleek and sophisticated. As for the products themselves, the Livin’ the Highlight in Luminous and the lipstick in Flamingo are my new go-to’s. The highlighter really gives you a “J.Lo glow,” and a little bit goes a long way. The Flamingo lipstick shade is up my alley. I’m a sucker for nudes that have a pink undertone, and that shade just screams Jennifer.

It makes me so sad to write this, but the bronzer and mascara weren’t my favorites. Maybe my expectations were set too high, but the bronzer applies a bit patchy, while the mascara wand is so tiny and thin that it barely lifted my lashes.

As a huge J.Lo fan, I’m still in love and impressed with her 70-piece collection. If you want to see all of the makeup goodies, head on over to Inglot’s website.
