Jennifer Lopez wore a white fur coat during labor because of course she did
There’s nothing more worthwhile or challenging than bringing life into this world. But if you’re Jennifer Lopez, you can still look like a total superstar during labor.
During an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Jennifer Lopez said she wore a white fur coat while in labor with her two children, Emme and Max.
She recounted the story casually, sharing each clothing items reminds her of a different moment in her life.
She said, "It was in the middle of a snowstorm, and I wore this big white fur coat. I was huge, and it was the only coat that would fit me. Every time I see that coat, I think of the day my kids were born."
The image of seeing the diva wearing a dramatic coat despite being in intense pain is exactly the badass beauty we’ve come to expect from Jennifer.
While the coat was on everyone’s imagination, it was her collaboration with shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti that J.Lo focused on.
The singer/actress/fashion icon met the designer a while ago and the two hit it off.
She recalled, "I first met Giuseppe years ago, and I remember him just being a really sweet spirit."
They talked life, clothing, and – of course – shoes in their first meeting. Now, that friendship has molded into a creative collaboration with the upcoming Giuseppe for Jennifer Lopez collection.
The shoes will range from stunning pumps to glittery wedges, and will be perfect representations of all the gorgeous glamour we’ve come to expect from Jennifer.
During the interview, Jennifer admitted that her daughter is just as interested in fashion as she is.
She joked, "Who knows? We may have a little designer on our hands."
It wouldn’t be at all surprising that her daughter would end up being as fashionable as her mother. Especially since her mom looked so on point while bringing her into this world.
