Jennifer Lopez would have done a few things differently for Ben Affleck’s tattoo

Ah, Andy Cohen. The Watch What Happens Life host has a special ability to wrangle the truth out of people, largely thanks to his popular segment Plead the Fifth. It’s a segment where Andy asks his guest three questions, and they can only choose to not answer one. A few months ago he got Jennifer Lawrence to insinuate that yes, she’s definitely kissed her Hunger Games co-star Liam Hemsworth before. And last year he got Drew Barrymore to confess her least favorite film that she’s worked on (Bad Girls).

Last night it was Jennifer Lopez’s turn in the hot seat—her third time playing Plead the Fifth!—and she brought the funny once again. This time she played marry/shag/kill with her American Idol co-hosts (she pled the fifth on that one) and addressed that one time when she was texting during Mariah’s performance at the Billboard Music Awards.

Andy also asked her about the large phoenix tattooed on her ex, Ben Affleck’s, back, and JLo let him have it. She weighed in immediately, without hesitation.

“It’s awful!” she answered right away. “I would tell him that! I would tell him, like, what are you doing?”

You might remember that Ben was first spotted with the tat last summer. It’s a large, colorful phoenix that spans his entire back. Needless to say, it’s some pretty aggressive body art. And that seems to be what irks Jennifer about the ink—not the fact that he has it, but how bright it is.

“It has too many colors. His tattoos always had too many colors. They wouldn’t be so colorful, you know what I mean? They should be cooler.”
