The trailer for Jennifer Lawrence’s new movie is exhilarating. Just watch.

For the past few years, we’ve had an amazing Jennifer Lawrence movie delivered to us just before Christmas. First, there was Silver Linings Playbook. Then, American Hustle. Now in 2015, J-Law is once again teaming up with director David O. Russell to bring us Joy, and we’ve go the first trailer for it. It’s based on the story of Joy Mangano, who’s best known as the woman who invented the Miracle Mop.

Joy will span four generations of Joy’s life, and follow her as she “rises to become founder and matriarch of a powerful family business dynasty.” That’s something we can get behind, and the trailer does not disappoint as we journey through each different stage of her life. We meet her during childhood, and follow her through college, then a job at an airline, and then as she becomes a wife and mother. It’s during this later period that she becomes frustrated with house cleaning (with you there, Joy) and decides to invent something magnificent, one simple sketch at a time.

But, the road to Miracle Mop glory isn’t smooth sailing. Clearly Joy’s going to be faced with challenges along the way. The way the trailer plays out, she fiercely stares down ever single obstacle — and who better to play someone that determined than our girl Lawrence? The trailer’s only two minutes long, but I feel like I’m already cheering for Joy.

And, not only has Lawrence re-teamed with Russell for this movie, but they’ve brought along some other friends, too. Like, Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro.

Joy opens on Christmas Day this year, and two more words for you: Oscar contender.
