Jennifer Lawrence’s description of herself at big parties is uncannily relatable

Many of us can relate to the feeling of being slightly overwhelmed by crowds at parties, especially because it’s awkward to watch others having fun when you’re the uncomfortable girl in the corner. But it’s actually totally 100% normal to feel that way, and even famous actors aren’t immune. You know, like J-Law!

On The Late Late ShowJennifer Lawrence explained why she’s ‘no fun’ at parties and THIS IS ALL OF US.

"I get really overwhelmed by the amount of people, then I find two people and I imprison them and I trap them and I'm like ‘it's you and me," she told James Corden.

Yup, been there a thousand times. Without your BFF to ease the pain, those situations can be really scarring.

J-Law also recalled a story where Ellen Page was sort of her wing-person at a party, but things didn’t go over so well. She went on to say,

"One year for the Oscars, I think it was the American Hustle year, I juice cleansed and then got really, really wasted. Then something was smokin' and then I barfed, at Guy Oseary's house, I vomited, cheers Guy. I remember going up to Ellen Page and saying ‘I need to get in my car' and she was like ‘not my problem,' And I was like 'take me home Ellen.'"

LOL! And been there too! Being weird at parties is a legit thing that only truly awkward people understand. And no joke, it’s hard to be the most gracious person when you just want to get the hell outta there.

Thanks for always keeping it real, girl! Now with all the holiday parties coming up, all you need to remember is to be yourself! No matter if you’re talking to a group or just one person, no matter if you stay all night or peace out early. People will respect seeing the authentic you!
