Jennifer Lawrence wore an actual wedding dress to her engagement party—and yes, there’s a picture
Jennifer Lawrence is engaged to art gallery director Cooke Maroney, and she may have just given us a major hint about what we can expect from her wedding day style. Lawrence wore a stunning blush pink bridal gown to her engagement party on Sunday, May 12th, and her stylists, Jill Lincoln and Jordan Johnson, shared a photo of the look to Instagram. That’s right—The Dark Phoenix star chose an actual wedding dress for the N.Y.C. affair.
The long-sleeved chiffon dress was designed by L. Wells Bridal and featured a deep V-cut. The gown retails for $2,300, and comes in either blush or ivory. Lawrence kept her accessories minimal, wearing Fred Leighton jewelry and french rose Aquazzura pumps.
Lawrence completed the look with an updo and a pink Roger Vivier purse.
The actress has worn a wedding-inspired look by the New York-based bridal brand before: a white lace gown on the red carpet back in 2017.
No word yet on what designer Lawrence will choose for her actual wedding (nor on when the wedding will take place), but we won’t be surprised if she opts for a bohemian aesthetic (and needless to say, we can’t wait to find out what she wears on the big day).
