Jennifer Lawrence wants to create a reality show that’s “Hunger Games” meets “The Bachelor,” and we blame Kris Jenner

Jennifer Lawrence is so talented and successful that one would think she could swim through Hollywood scripts Meryl Streep-style, and yet she has her sights set somewhere else: Lawrence wants to be a reality television producer. Is Lawrence’s new BFF Kris Jenner responsible for this sudden new interest in producing reality shows? Whatever the inspiration, J.Law’s reality show pitch is kinda bananas, but in the best way.

Lawrence cites that because she watches so much Bravo and E! content, she is a “television professional” when it comes to reality television.

“I have actually been toying with the idea of becoming a billionaire and I’d like to start my own TV network,” Lawrence jokingly revealed in a recent interview with Vanity Fair. “I am pretty much a television professional at this point. And I have a brilliant idea for a reality show called Breakup Island.”

We thought she was joking, but oh no, her vision for the show is crystal clear.

"I can’t tell you the details, but there are very distinct cast members like The Bachelor, between the ages of 20 and 50, who you stay with and care about...That’s all I’m willing to disclose about Breakup Island because I really think it’s going to happen, she added. “My agent was laughing at me when I told him. But I am clearly obsessed.

So people go on an island with the sole purpose being to break up with each other? So it’s The Hunger Games meet The Bachelor? We wouldn’t be shocked to find this on ABC’s summer lineup, tbh.

If you think Lawrence is joking, think again. The actress mentioned in an interview on the WTF podcast that she already has a production company, plus she and Catt Sadler are executive producing a docu-series inspired by the #MeToo movement.

Lawrence isn’t messing around with this billionaire TV network talk. Breakup Island, we’re waiting for you.
