Jennifer Lawrence is reportedly in talks to play a lead in the all-female “Ocean’s 11” reboot

If you didn’t think Ocean’s 11 could get better than the 2001 reboot (the Rat Pack original came out in 1960), think again. Hunger Games‘ director Gary Ross has teamed up with Sandra Bullock for an all-female reboot of the heist classic and the latest casting news will give you chills.

Indiewire reports that the internet is abuzz with rumors that everyone’s BFF Jennifer Lawrence is in talks to join the cast. We were already excited about this movie, but if J.Law joins, we are so there. Jennifer Lawrence has more than enough charisma to carry the film, and with the equally hilarious and talented Sandra Bullock by her side, we expect pure cinematic fireworks. It’s a duo that could even beat the George Clooney-Brad Pitt pairing from the 2001 film.

If Jennifer really does join the cast, it will also reunite her with her Hunger Games director, and we know that’s a winning combo. Oh, and then there are the nine other amazing women who have yet to be cast that she’ll also be teaming up with. Yeah. This is exciting.

This won’t be the first time Hollywood has decided to reboot a franchise putting women in the driver’s seat. This summer, we’ll finally get to see the all-lady Ghostbusters reboot, starring funny women Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones. We love this trend and can’t wait to see the all-female Ocean’s 11, no matter who ends up rounding out the cast.
