Jennifer Lawrence just shared an adorable detail that will make you ship her and Nicholas Hoult so hard
Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult used to date (they met way back when they were filming X-Men: First Class). You probably already know that though.
The pair split in August 2014 — which you also probably already know.
But chances are you don’t know this little adorable detail that Jennifer shared with ET during an interview for X-Men: Apocalypse, which hits theaters on May 27.
“Nick always said whenever I yelled at him, it was always in a Southern accent,” she told ET.
Since Jen’s originally from Louisville, Kentucky, the accent makes sense.
“I used to yell at Nick and kind of see like his smile flickering,” she said. “[I was] like, ‘Why are you smiling?’ And he’s like, ‘Because you sound like your dad.’”
We had no idea that yelling at someone could sound so adorable.
Jennifer also recently revealed her trick for removing the blue paint was smothered in after a day of filming as the mutant Mystique — shaving cream! Except it may have ruined her relationship.
“It is really good for taking paint off!” she told Extra. “But Nick used to hate it because I would come home smelling like a man and, like, too tired. I was like, ‘Don’t touch me, I’m too tired,’ and he was like, ‘You smell like a dude.’”
Ah, the struggles of being a blue mutant are real.
