At this point in her career, Jennifer Lawrence can get away with anything. Can Jen play a thirty-something divorced mother of two? Sure. Does Jen want to eat pizza not-stop and hates dating? Sounds about right. Is Jen wearing mismatched prints at this Passengers photo call and completely pulling it off? ABSOLUTELY.
Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt have been dazzling us these past few weeks as they promote their new space drama Passengers. Jen, for her part, has been gifting us with outfit after outfit and hair look after hair look and today we have Jen wearing a cherry-print tank with a floral skirt and all we can say is SLAY.
Let’s pause for a moment and just talk about what’s happening at this photo call. A mirrored room full of Christmas lights? Uhh. Okay. #StrangerThings
But back to the clothes. That top shouldn’t go with that skirt but somehow it does? Is Jen Law that cool that she just made mixing prints a thing? Should we do that? Are we TOO matchy-matchy? Is Jen actually a fashion icon? Is Jen actually RIHANNA? Jen has spoken on the subject in the past and told E! News that she would never refer to herself as a so-called “fashion icon.”
