Jennifer Lawrence would like to meet Trump just to throw a martini in his face

Now hear this… Jennifer Lawrence has taken on a lot of different roles in her career, but there’s one part she’s really been dreaming of playing: a woman who throws a martini at Donald Trump.

Lawrence revealed this, and plenty more personal details about her life, to Oprah Winfrey in a Hollywood Reporter interview this week. Operation Martini came up as the two lady bosses’ conversation about pay equality turned to power and politics.

After confirming that she’d never met Trump, Jennifer Lawrence told Oprah she’d like to run into the president, if only to call him out:

"I've got a pretty good speech. And it ends with a martini to the face. (Laughter.) I have something to say for all of them. I watch different characters on the news, and I'm like, 'You just wait.'"

We love picturing Lawrence practicing her political takedowns in the mirror (Like Charlotte did with her speech for Big in the Sex and the City movie). And honestly, we’re a little bummed she didn’t give us more specifics about what she wants to say.

But we do know she won’t hold back if the time comes.

"I'll give you a hint — it's not nice," she told Oprah of her preparedness for the moment. "You wouldn't want me to say it to you."

Until she gets the chance to tell the president and other politicians what she thinks of them to their faces, Lawrence says she’ll combat the feelings of helplessness so many are feeling by focusing on activism.

By raising money for non-partisan group Represent.Us, touring college campuses to talk about government corruption, and helping to get some anti-corruption laws passed, Jennifer Lawrence is hoping to put her celebrity platform to good use.
