Jennifer Lawrence says her “Red Sparrow” premiere face was her attempt to not look drunk, is all of us
Jennifer Lawrence attended the New York premiere of her new spy film Red Sparrow, and while we think she served up witchy ballerina vibes, Lawrence thinks her red carpet poses made her look like she “had electroshock therapy.” Come again? Whatever you say, girl. Lawrence revealed in a new interview with Andy Cohen for his SiriusXM show on February 28th that she was drunk when she got to the red carpet and the faces she made in the premiere photos were because she was trying to hide that she was drunk.
Lawrence filmed her Watch What Happens Live! episode (to air later this week) before the film’s premiere, and we all know that guests on WWHL! have a boozy good time.
“But I did get drunk at your thing…can we look at the premiere photos please?" Lawrence told Cohen in the SiriusXM interview. "I look like I had had electroshock therapy. In my head I’m like, ‘I’m a goth dream,’ and then I looked at the photos and I’m like, ‘I’m a goth dream on crack.’ My eyes were like ‘I’m not drunk!’
Tbh, we know the “I’m not drunk” face you make to overcompensate for your drunkenness sometimes makes you look aggressively “awake” instead.
Honestly, we just thought the camera flashes were overwhelming because she only looked this wide-eyed in a few angles. See?
