Jennifer Garner revealed the totally bizarre but completely endearing reason why she joined Instagram
Jennifer Garner joined Instagram last month, because, for most people, there comes a time when you finally get a social media presence. There’s no why needed, you just have an Instagram/Facebook/Twitter. When Garner made her IG debut, we never wondered WHY the actress signed up for an Instagram. Turns out, she did it to follow ballerinas.
Yes, Jennifer Garner likes following famous Instagram dancers, so she realized the only way she could keep tabs on her fave bunheads was by getting an IG account.
Listen, some of us get ‘grams to show off our selfies, others like to see what celebrities are up to, but Garner likes following ballerinas, and we find that truly endearing.
“First of all I started Insta-stalking people, mostly ballerinas,” Garner told E! News of her decision to bite the bullet and join Instagram. “But I’ve so enjoyed watching dancers that I admire from afar and feeling like I get a little insight into their lives and so it just seemed like, ‘OK that makes more sense to me.’”
We quickly searched Google for “Jennifer Garner ballet movie” to see if that was what inspired her interest in dancers, but that came up empty. However, she apparently used to do ballet as a kid, and she’s often seen dropping her daughter off at ballet class, so that solves that.
