Here’s Jennifer Aniston’s superstitious pre-flight ritual

Let’s just admit it: We’re all a little scared of flying. Whether it’s the stress of the airport or the sheer concept of being so high in the air, getting on a plane is enough to get anyone’s heart racing, even if you’re Jennifer Aniston. The movie star isn’t immune to pre-flight jitters. However, she’s learned to combat it with a little superstitious ritual. It may not make much sense, but it definitely puts her at ease.

It’s a quick, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it tradition that’s now an important part of every single flight. She explains:

Aniston isn’t the only star who has a special ritual just for flying on planes. Lauren Conrad, former star of The Hills, always brings knitting needles and yarn, and Olivia Munn has a secret ingredient that makes flying much more comfortable:

So, whether your flight rituals lean more superstitious  (like Jen’s) or practical (like Olivia’s), the point is that we all have them. There’s no shame in having a little tradition to make the stress of air travel a little less, well, stressful.

And, with all the flying these actresses have to do for work, we’re going to consider them in the experts in how to fight the flying jitters. We’ll definitely be whipping these tricks out when it’s time to head home for the holidays.
