Jennifer Aniston shared her initial reaction to Justin Theroux’s proposal, and LOL
They’ve been happily married for quite some time, but now a few more details are emerging about the “big moment.” Jennifer Aniston discussed her engagement to Justin Theroux, and thanks to her fun interview in Harper’s Bazaar (conducted by the incredible Amy Sedaris) we got a lot of insight on the proposal, as well as the big day.
Aniston is the cover girl for October’s issue of Harper’s Bazaar, and the magazine made the feature a bit more fun by including Sedaris in the loop. One thing you may not know? Sedaris was actually named Theroux’s “best man” just days before the two got married. Thus, the interview was a little more candid than normal.
First, Aniston dished about the engagement.
"When Justin proposed he put that freaking ring on my finger, and I was like, 'Holy crap, now I’m gonna have to get manicures,'" she joked.
She’s right — since her relationships seem to be quite a hit for tabloids, she might as well be looking her best, right?
The two got married in August of 2015, and Aniston admitted that one of her anniversary gifts to Theroux this year was an edited video of their wedding. Which, as Sedaris made sure to point out, was a pretty awesome day.
"Everything about that wedding was perfect. Everyone was dressed like a bunch of woodland creatures, and your dress looked so beautiful and breezy," Sedaris said.
While we wish we could have been there, we may be able to see the amazing couple together soon — on screen, that is. According to Entertainment Tonight, the two have been discussing a possible project that Theroux would write and Aniston would star in. Since we haven’t seen them share the screen since Wanderlust, we can’t wait to see what they come up with.
