Jennifer Aniston just put the most elegant spin on a sporty outfit
The next time you want to wear track pants like they’re real pants — i.e. with a formal coat and out in public — and someone says you’re crazy, just bat them away and tell them you’re pulling a Jennifer Aniston. The actress donned her sportswear best on a recent trip to Paris with husband Justin Theroux, and she looked as glam as ever.
In town for an event celebrating the launch of Louis Vuitton’s collab handbag collection with contemporary artist Jeff Koons — the bags feature replicas of famous paintings, such as the Mona Lisa, topped off with shiny, streetwear-inspired nameplates — Aniston channeled the casual cool of the LV x Koons collection in a pair of black, ankle-length track pants with a white side stripe, clean white sneakers, an easy white T-shirt, and a sophisticated camel overcoat.
She even added a little ice to her look, sporting a gold chain around her neck and taking her streetwear-chic style to haute heights.
What takes this outfit from simple athleisure to Paris-appropriate ensemble is the addition of accessories. Aniston’s chic coat and gold chain add sophisticated flare, and her two-tone snakeskin purse gives the look a distinctly adult feel.
Her pants — Chloé’s Canvas-Trimmed Crepe Straight-Leg Pants — retail for $1,250, a little more than the average pair of Champion sweats. But Aniston’s ensemble can at least serve as inspiration, since replicating the look would be a total breeze.
