Jennifer Aniston just joined Instagram and celebrated with a post of her Friends
She swore she’d never do it. But as a wise man once said, “never say never.” Jennifer Aniston finally joined Instagram, and to celebrate, she kicked off her social media journey with a pic of some of her best, ahem, Friends.
Earlier today, October 15th, Aniston uploaded her first-ever Instagram post on her official, verified Instagram page @jenniferaniston. It’s a selfie to end all selfies, starring herself, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer. Yup, all the Friends, together again. Does this mean that a reboot/reunion episode is finally happening, or…?

*Janice voice* OH. MY. GOD.
According to Us Weekly, the former co-stars were simply catching up over dinner. But can you blame us for reading into this? No. No, you can’t.
Aniston has been vocal in the past about her unwillingness to jump on the social media bandwagon. She told Elle in December 2018 that she had absolutely no desire to over-publicize her private moments.
“The one thing I have is maintaining this little circle of sanctity that’s my own,” she said. “If I’m sitting here posting something about my dogs or I’m Boomeranging my coffee mug in the morning, that’s just giving away one more piece of something that is mine.”
However, earlier this week, Aniston hinted that her opinions about social media may have shifted. “What you resist, persists,” Aniston told Entertainment Tonight on October 13th, hinting at the fact that social media isn’t going anywhere. “It’s something that is a part of our world now and it’s not going away.”
She even sang some praises about social media. "You can actually have a little bit more control over the narrative that's out there," The Morning Show actress continued. "[You can] right some wrongs and some silly things that, God knows, are said often."
And when asked if she would ever hop onto Instagram, Aniston said, “Maybe. You never know.”
Well, now we do. We cannot wait to see what kind of good content Aniston will bring to our feeds.
