Jenna Dewan Tatum’s gown looks like a wedding dress Princess Tiana would wear
What does it take to make us feel princess-y? The answer varies, but we can’t deny that wearing a ballgown helps. And while we may not be children anymore, we’re still inspired by the classic elegance of Disney Princesses and their gowns. Whether we’re channeling Belle à la Rihanna, or Princess Tiana à la Jenna Dewan Tatum, we often take a style cue from our favorite fairy tales.
Jenna’s Zac Posen dress, which she wore to the premiere of Kingsman: The Golden Circle in London last night, looks like something Princess Tiana would wear and we can’t help but swoon.
From the front, the strapless dress looks elegant and rather simple. The sheer, mint green gown features lace paneling cut into a V, and a high-waisted ballgown silhouette. While Princess Tiana’s green dress is a little more eccentric than Jenna’s pick, we have a feeling she would have loved this gown as a bridal option. Especially when you see this dress from the side.
Instead of shying away from a statement, Jenna went for it, opting for a gown with sheer side panels that pack a sultry punch.
The full skirt and subtle embellishments also help take this look to the next level, especially when paired with Jenna’s hair and makeup. With her short hair in a wavy bob, and green eyeshadow to match her dress, Jenna looks like a princess in her own right.
With a look this unexpected, there’s no way Jenna’s night wasn’t magical.
