Jenna Dewan Tatum returned to Instagram with her first pic since announcing her split from Channing Tatum
After announcing their decision to split on social media, Jenna Dewan Tatum and Channing Tatum have kept a low profile. We understand why; breaking up is hard enough without constant public scrutiny. But Jenna has officially returned to social media — and with a message that’s both positive and beautiful.
News of the split broke on Monday, April 2nd. The couple, who met on the set of the movie Step Up back in 2006, each posted a statement to Instagram announcing the news. “We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple,” they wrote. “We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now.”
The couple share a four-year-old daughter named Everly, who just made her first public appearance at this year’s Kid’s Choice Awards back in March, where her dad was a presenter.
Jenna figured it was time to break the silence, and sent some love to all of her fans.
"Thank you guys for all your love. Love you right back ❤💗🙏🏻," she wrote.
In the picture, she looks stunning. But more importantly, she looks confident and at peace. While separation is never easy, we’re getting the message that the actress is okay.
