Jeffrey Dean Morgan says his son likes to “play Negan” and we don’t know how to feel about that

Everyone hates Negan, but apparently not Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s son, who like to “play Negan,” which makes us a little uneasy.

If you ask any fan of The Walking Dead they will tell you the same thing about Negan. Negan is a jerk, he’s power hungry and he loves to kill. So, why would anyone want to “play Negan?”

Well, for starters, Morgan, who plays the AMC show villain, revealed that his son doesn’t actually watch the show, because it is definitley not kid friendly. Secondly, Morgan’s son — who he has with wife, Hilarie Burton — is only six years old, so he doesn’t know how terrifying his dad’s character is. Oh, and he’s a child, duh.

On Tuesday’s episode of The Howard Stern Show, Morgan opened up about his son’s opinion of Negan saying, he has “his own baseball bat. He’s got a little Lucille.” Uhmmm, what?!

In fact, the former Grey's Anatomy actor revealed that his son told him one day that he was "playing Negan" in the family chicken coop.

Yes, it’s a little creepy, but we’re more intrigued by the fact that the Morgan family has a chicken coop — very cool.

"He comes bounding out of the chicken coop and he's dressed full Negan with the baseball bat," Morgan told the radio show's host. He didn't however hurt any of the chickens, thank goodness.

We’re a little concerned about his son’s playtime antics but if the Morgan household is chill with it, then so are we.

Also, let’s talk about that chicken coop, eh?
