Jay Pharaoh’s passionate cover of Justin Bieber’s “Where Are U Now” is a hilarious must watch
While we are still mourning Jay Pharoah’s departure from Saturday Night Live, we don’t have to be sad for too long considering he is a hugely successful stand-up act.
For starters, we can expect to see Pharoah on the new Comedy Central special, Goddamn Comedy Jam, in which stand-up comedians perform a set, followed by a performance of their favorite song with a live band. A perfect formula, if you ask me.
The show’s August 28th premiere features Pharoah, and his cover performance of his “favorite song” is incredible, to say the least.

Yes, that is Jay Pharoah blessing us all with a moving rendition of “Where Are U Now” by Justin Bieber and Jack Ü.
Please note that supreme stage presence: the dramatic jacket removal, the pained facial expressions!
The best part is when the gifted impressionist imitates the screechy sound in each chorus (you know what I’m talking about) in between hilariously earnest delivery of the verses.
