Jason Momoa is a giant huggable teddy bear posing with his costars at TIFF
When you’re a big, muscular dude, you develop a certain reputation. When we see a guy playing powerful, intense characters who do scary things, we sometimes expect the actor playing them to be just as intense in real life. For instance, when we first saw Jason Momoa, one of our favorite characters from Game of Thrones and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we definitely assumed that he was a serious, hardcore kind of guy, but we were SO wrong.
We’re used to seeing Jason Momoa looking dark and intense, like as Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones.
But appearances can be deceiving, because at TIFF, Jason Momoa showed that he’s a big, goofy teddy bear on the red carpet for new film The Bad Batch.
Look at Jason grinning as he wraps director Ana Lily Amirpour in a giant hug. That’s totally not the intense leader of the Dothraki that we’re used to. But it’s true — Jason Momoa may be built like a fierce warrior, but from these pictures we can tell that on the inside he’s sweet and silly.
He tries to look scary posing with his co-star Suki Waterhouse.
How cute is this pic? Jason showing off his goofball side is so endearing, and he makes us smile. He looks like he’s having SO much fun. Plus, his fabulous violet velvet vest makes this giant, muscular man look totally huggable.
