A Janet Jackson Netflix reality series is reportedly in the works

Her fans were low-key devastated when she postponed her highly anticipated tour last year, but Janet Jackson is determined to make it up to them. We could be way off base here, but we’re thinking that a Janet Jackson Netflix reality show will officially smooth things over.
No, your eyes do not deceive you, people: Word on the Hollywood streets is that Jackson will star in a 10-part reality series that will chronicle her life as a new mom to her beautiful son Eissa. Reportedly, the show will also address precisely what’s going on with Jackson’s divorce to husband Wissam Al Mana, in addition to taking us behind the scenes of her return to music.
While this does feel like a bit of an uncharacteristic move for the notoriously private singer, we are all the way on board with a Janet Jackson reality show.
We can’t think of a single person who doesn’t want to know all about what goes down during one of Jackson’s recording sessions or “State of the World” tour rehearsals. According to a source who reportedly spoke with The Sun, the “Unbreakable” singer is ready to dish the deets.
"Janet has been fiercely private about her life in the past but feels the need to keep her fans in the loop with what life has been like since she went into hiatus ten years ago," the source allegedly told The Sun. "The show will run as a ten-part documentary and will feature recording sessions in the studio, co-parenting her child with Wissam and preparing for the European and Asian legs of her tour. Netflix are negotiating a big sum for the rights to the show as they expect it to perform well."
Jackson’s camp has yet to confirm these reports, but we could easily see this being one of the most popular shows on Netflix.
We’re ready and waiting, Janet!
