Jamie Lynn Spears surprised big sister Britney onstage during a major award, and her reaction was the sweetest

The star-studded Spears sisters had a cute reunion on the stage of the Radio Disney Music Awards on Saturday. Jamie Lynn Spears appeared on stage to present Britney Spears with the first Icon Award. Moreover, Hailee Steinfeld, Kelsey Ballerina, and Sofia Carson performed a series of Britney’s biggest hits, which included “…Baby One More Time” and “Circus.”

At the end of the performance, Jamie Lynn Spears appeared on stage to sing, “Till the World Ends.”

Disney's first Icon Award was "designed to recognize a distinguished artist whose career transcends popular culture and whose music is loved by generations of Radio Disney fans."

Britney’s career began 23 years ago when she was just a kid on the Mickey Mouse Club alongside Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, and Ryan Gosling. The pop star’s 26-year-old sister was the perfect person to present Britney’s award. Jamie Lynn has been staying out of the spotlight lately. Her daughter was involved in an ATV crash but has thankfully recovered. However, the star wanted to support her sister in this iconic moment for Disney.

According to Teen Vogue, after receiving her award, Britney said, "What a pleasant surprise, my goodness! This is such an honor. I want to thank Radio Disney so much for giving me their first-ever Icon Award. What can I say? This is such an honor! Your support throughout my career has meant so much to me."

She also mentioned her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James in her speech. She called them the “freakin’ best.” She goes on to say, “You’re the reason my heart beats, and I love you so much.”

It’s such a cute family affair.

We are so happy for Britney and her Icon Award. Oops, she did it again, folks.

The 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards air today at 4pm PT on Disney.
