James Corden is ready to join the “Magic Mike” crew, and he’s kind of killing it, TBH
At this point, we’re pretty accustomed to Channing Tatum getting weird on talk shows. We’re also pretty accustomed to James Corden getting weird, like, all the time. What we weren’t prepared for was a video of Channing Tatum teaching James Corden to perform with the Magic Mike Live crew for The Late Late Show with James Corden. Because honestly, who could predict something like that!? We know James Corden is a bonkers talented singer, but we didn’t know he dabbled in dance. Realistically, though, we probably didn’t know that about the talk show host because he didn’t dabble in dance… at least, until now.
In a bit for The Late Late Show, James Corden convinces Channing Tatum to give him a shot to learn the ~moves~.
We’re a little disappointed that we don’t get to see more of Channing Tatum himself sharing his sick dance moves, ’cause we’re always here for that… but James Corden gets some pretty solid training anyway! And of course, all of his hard work culminates in a performance for a bunch of “screaming, horny, beautifully sloppy drunk women” (thanks for the “beautifully”, Channing)…

We have to say, much as we love carpool karaoke, and much as we’ll NEVER forget Channing Tatum’s Lip Sync Battle, this miiiiight be our favorite talk show bit in a long, long time.
Also… we can’t be the only ones thinking about campaigning for a stripper-centric Karate Kid reboot with Channing Tatum as Mr. Miyagi after watching this, can we? If you were like “no SAME” in response to that, let’s make this happen. (Just kidding.) (We’re not.)
