J.K. Rowling’s Christmas gift to us is 12 new ‘Harry Potter’ short stories!

The wizarding world of Harry Potter is just the gift that keeps on giving, and we’re totally okay with this. Most recently, a Pottermore newsletter told subscribers it would be publishing brand new, shiny and magical Harry Potter stories between December 12th through the 23rd. These wonderful literary treats will be posted every morning at 8am EST.

The Pottermore email stated, “With wonderful writing by J.K. Rowling in Moments from Half-Blood Prince, shiny gold Galleons and even a new potion or two, make sure you don’t miss out — just visit pottermore.com and answer our rhyming riddles to unwrap a #PottermoreChristmas surprise every day.”

Of course J.K. Rowling would not be J.K. Rowling if she didn’t make us use our wizard/witch noggins in order to access her newest stories.

And according to The Telegraph, one of these stories will be all about Draco Malfoy! Which I’m excited about, because that boy didn’t get nearly enough love in the series, and we all know he was just an angsty, misunderstood teen wizard. It’s difficult when both of your parents are die-hard (eh, literally?) Voldemort cult followers, you know?
