Item of the Day: The Saint Society Jacket
If we’re being honest, it really irks us sometimes that ethically-made, designer-quality clothing–like good food and fine wine–is basically off limits to those of us with bank accounts rivaling Lindsay Lohan‘s (read: empty). We love fast fashion as much as the next Nasty Gal, but every so often we want to own something that’ll last us more than one season. Which is why we’re flipping over this new brand StyleSaint–they design everything in-house and produce it locally and ethically in Los Angeles using the same manufacturers as labels like Rag & Bone and The Row (good enough for the Olsens=good enough for us). In other words, their clothing should cost a bajillion dollars, but it doesn’t because they only sell online and can thus skip superfluous retail markups.
Anyhoo, we’re particularly obsessed with their Saint Society army jacket. In our minds, army jackets go with everything and are particularly crucial as we move into fall. It’s hard, though, to find one that doesn’t make us look like an actual member of the army (which would be awesome, but we’re trying to be ever-so-slightly more darling), and this one is actually somehow slim-fitting/uber-flattering. It also comes with a little patch on the lapel reading either “Saint” or “Sinner,” which adds a little flirty flair.
We broke girls like to hook other broke girls up, so shop the Saint Society Jacket—or anything else from our newest web obsession–and get 15% off using promo code HG15. You’re welcome.
