Item of the Day: The Cabin Sisters

I’m not usually the first to know about a hot new band, so I’m really excited to tell you guys about The Cabin Sisters, whose weird, dreamy, magical folk music has me totally transfixed. Real-life sisters Zosia and Clara Mamet (ahem, stars of GIRLS and NEIGHBORS, respectively) decided they wanted to start a cover band as a way to spend more time together but quickly found themselves inspired to write their own music instead. Check out their Facebook page and you’ll hear for yourselves how hypnotic and catchy they’ve made their tunes. I seriously can’t stop listening.

Their album is currently available through their Kickstarter, where you can also help out the girls in creating their first music video.
