Item of the Day: Lucas’ Papaw Ointment

I’ve read a lot of articles lately with titles like “10 Best Beauty Buys for Winter!” and “Beat Winter Blues with THESE Tried and Tested Products!” And I want you to know, this is not another one of those articles. Those lists are filled with sometimes expensive solutions that end up working just as well as Vaseline. There’s no list here, just one item that does it all. Everybody swears by something, and I swear by Lucas’ Papaw Ointment.

I first came across this stuff when I asked my co-worker if she had lotion. She handed me a tub of Lucas’ Papaw Ointment, and it instantly removed the scaly feeling from my wintery, wind-burned hands. I waited until the next morning, skeptically, to see if the stuff held up. My hands were still soft, and the rest is history.

The key ingredient here is papaya. And it’s working, because this stuff fixes everything: chapped lips, dry skin, sunburns, diaper rash, bug bites, and the list goes on. There are even reviews online saying it works for eczema. It comes in a variety of sizes and containers, but the tub is my weapon of choice. It’s easy to just dig in and have at it.
