Item of the Day: ‘Darlin’, the new single from Branches

Branches is, perhaps, the best up-and-coming folk band that you’ve never heard of. That’s about to change. They’re on the rise in their home city of LA, and have had songs placed in a variety of media projects.

They’ve just released their newest single, and it’s a kicker. If you love the sound of The Lumineers or Mumford & Sons, picture that, but with a resounding female vocal in the mix. Darlin’ is a great introduction to their sound, and it’s well worth a listen. Head on over to their bandcamp to hear the song in full! Having had the privilege of seeing the lady and gentlemen of Branches do their thing live, I can personally say I’m a huge fan of their work, and I hope you will be too.
